Economic Hit Man

John Perkins in an interview on Fora TV about the causes of the Iceland Desaster and hereby introducing the term “Economic Hit Man“: He claims that Economic hit men (EHMs) are highly-paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. These mercenaries with MBA funnel money from the World Bank, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and other foreign “aid” organizations into the coffers of huge corporations and the pockets of a few wealthy families who control the planet’s natural resources. Their tools included fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder. They play a game as old as empire, but one that has taken on new and terrifying dimensions during this time of globalization. Can you believe this to be true? Well, it’s one by economic means most compelling conspiracy theories written. As with any good conspiracy theory, they are difficult to falsify. Here the most compelling reason why this “Empire” theory does not work out, is simply, that the world is far too complex to let it be controlled by a few individuals. Nevertheless it is true that some individuals have far greater power than others, but this is one of those theories that is most convincing to those who have little power themselves.
