Architecture beyond Imagination

Today I met a friend for lunch in Frankfurt, who flew in from India and while discussing ideas we accidentally passed by the new “My Zeil“-shopping mall by Massimiliano Fuksas. The Architecture is incredible and you can easily understand why the building cost totalled to 1 billion Euros. Besides the boring and very conservative, uncharitable lease structure, the architecture is pure emotion and impressive. The glass-steel structure, which reminds you of the days CAD programms operated only with cubicles, creates two giant funnels that go through the buildings main structure itself from bottom to roof – german engineering made it possible. Check out all pics that I have uploaded for you here, although you may have to visit to fully understand the structure – it goes beyond what most people will be able to imagine….
